ASM relies on 3 major sources of income: membership fees, member’s and friend’s donations, and fundraising activities. To that effect the company organizes various events throughout the year. The goal is to raise sufficient funds to support the charitable and educational activities outlined in the company’s mission:
- Art Show and Auction: Local artists have their art showcased in the ASM clubhouse. Invited attendees are introduced to the collection, and afterwards, artists auction off their pieces. The proceeds are shared between the artists and ASM.
- Silent Auction: Once a year members and friends are encouraged to donate a variety of items for a silent auction. Invitations are sent out through email and social media in advance, listing the most exciting items to be auctioned off. Attendees pay a nominal participation fee. All proceeds of the auction are dedicated to the charities of ASM.
- Movie Night: The ASM clubhouse is equipped to show classic films of high demand, presented on a large screen in a casual atmosphere. Attendees pay a nominal entrance fee or are asked for donations.
- Band Night: The GHO band, which is affiliated with ASM, invites other local musicians and bands to a rock concert, where all proceeds are dedicated to a specified charity activity. During the concert donations will be collected.
- Raffle: ASM plans to set up an information-
booth at various public events throughout the local communities. Members conduct public relations activities fostering awareness of the company’s mission and charitable activities and encourage visitors to participate in a raffle. The prices shall include travel- ASM., entertainment- , sports- and fine dining awards. All proceeds of the raffle are dedicated to the charities of - Book Sale: Once a year members and friends are encouraged to donate a variety of books and media items for sale. Invitations are sent out through email and social media in advance. All proceeds of the book sale are dedicated to the charities of ASM.
In addition, general fundraising events are scheduled throughout the year in combination with planned social and artistic events of ASM as well as events organized in conjunction with other charitable organizations.
Fundraising
